My Buyer bred the dog that was purchased from me. This dog began displaying a head tremor shortly after arriving at Buyers home but tremor later stopped (without any medication). My Buyer went ahead and bred the dog and as of 2 weeks ago, two of her pups are now displaying head tremors.

so why breed from the lines if you are complaining about them? That makes no sense to me. Why perpetuate the problem if you feel there is a problem and want your money back?

I don't think "culling" is done anymore. I would assume they are kept or placed in a pet home. How can anyone "kill" a puppy like that? Good reputable breeders don't "kill" anymore just because they don't fit what the standard is.

It is strange that even though she answers other questions that surround your direct questions, she never answers these questions other than to say I haven't kept track of him. Why not just answer your questions fully?

You know what? We aren't EVER going to get to the truth of the matter here. There's the OP's side, they Buyer's side and then the new owner's side - who isn't here, so we won't ever have an accurate picture of what is going on with the health of the dog now.

The truth is somewhere in between those 3 stories. We aren't going to be able to make an accurate cyber-diagnosis on this dog, so we shouldn't really be trying to say one side is in the right and the other is wrong.

What we can take away from this is the following:

1- Buyers- know your breeder. You need to be comfortable with all of their practices and with the contract you are signing.

2- Breeders - know your buyer. Know what they plan on doing with your dog once it leaves your care. Have a plan in place if there might be a problem down the road.

3- And finally, this is the most important: It's ALL about the health of the dogs. Their well being comes first and foremost. Finger pointing and hurt feelings are for 3rd graders. Grow up, get over it and move on.

NO cyber diagnosis is in order as this dog went to a vet so there should be a vet diagnosis so what is it?

Again, since the person who actually HAS the dog isn't a member here and neither the Breeder nor the buyer have kept in touch with the new owners, we aren't ever going to know exactly WHAT the final diagnosis was.

But the buyer of the dog is a member here and she had the dog diagnosed prior to re-homing this dog so she does know the diagnosis so this has nothing to do with the new owner of the dog. The buyer re-homed this dog as she could not breed it due to seizures from what I am reading. Yet no answer has been stated whether this dog was bred prior to rehoming either? This whole thing is a debate of two members here based on the seizures - so again What is the diagnosis?

From what I have read she had a diagnosis prior to rehoming. Why would someone take on a dog they did not know what was wrong with it so from what I am reading the new buyer knew what was wrong with it or it was the food and no further issues?

Why would you bad mouth a breeder on the internet if you had no firm diagnosis prior to rehoming the dog possibly hurting this breeders reputation?

Why would you ask for money back if you had no diagnosis?

Why would you bad mouth the breeder saying they did not keep in contact with how this dog was doing for 5 years and then never keep in contact with new owner to know how dog is doing? Isn't that the same thing she is accusing the breeder of?

so her Vet could not give her a diagnosis? Then if someone else is paying for the vet bills why come after a breeder for this?

None of this make sense to me sorry
