is it possible you have a short in the wiring if so maybe go and get a stick on one for the kitchen and disconnect the others until you can fix the problem

i hope not ;( I know they are over 10 years old though so may try the new ones and hope for the best first and then go from there. Everything seems to be going out in our house lately. Dishwasher, then washer, computer now smoke detectors lol I guess it is true that 10 year rule - should have sold it lollll

About a month ago one of our detectors would beep periodically because low battery. Daisy and Bo were very curious about it and Rosco was shaking frantically. He is scared about everything replaced battery and still continued. Ended up buying a new one. It scared Rosco to death.

Aww Deb I hate them, but we have to have them, we had batteries before where we just to leave, now in this house is electric, my friend had one, close to the kitchen area and it will go out so often, that she put a plastic bag and sealed she just keep the other ones working/running specially in the second floor.

thanks yeah dd was not doing well last night she would lift front left paw once in a while then limp on back left it was like her whole left side was out of whack. I called ER last night and I have tramadol at home but held off last night but late last night she started walking better and this morning is walking better. I am hoping she is out of the woods today or taking her in to get tramadol pills as i only have liquid. We have no idea what happened as it all happened during all the chaos that night so not sure if one of the other dogs banged into her or jumped up and came down on her or what Say a little prayer for my girl as i feel so bad her little tail was down and everything poor baby
