| I used vinegar and it worked for me. I've had several family members come into my house and say that it doesn't smell and trust me my Mother wouldn't hold back. I've found a spot later on that smelled that I must have missed and sprayed it really well with vinegar and it got rid of the smell. The other stuff you used may have gotten it out of the carpet, the reason why you have no stain, and maybe didn't get down well enough to the carpet pad, just an idea. Anyway what I would suggest is to get down on all fours, or have your hubby do it, and put your nose really close to the carpet and start sniffing. When you find a spot really saturate it with whatever you use. I will say that I used straight vinegar in a spray bottle, didn't dilute it with anything. I've also used it in my steam cleaner, just put it in with the water, but I suggest to try and find the spots and spray with straight vinegar, unless you decide to use something else.

| No its a neutralizer. It takes the smell out for good. I had cat spray on my carpet and I used it and it took the smell up for good. I used it when my pups were little and not pottytrained too.

| Best odor remover for cat urine.. 1 bottle hydrogen peroxide 1 teaspoon Dawn dish soap 1 tablespoon baking soda mix and pour on area or spray . Let dry for a day until dry and vacuum up. It works. Will not change color of carpet.
