Sassy's last days

I have nothing to add that could possibly ease the heartache. But please know Sassy knew you were there for her..to the very end. You did the only thing you could of done for her. I too have held my babies while they passed, because like you, I would never let them face anything, without them knowing I was there and loved them beyond words. My heart breaks with you loss and I too sit here with tears. Unless a person has experienced the special bond we have with our babies, they cannot understand how truly impacted our whole life is. It will be a while before you can think of her without tears, but you will. Being 70, I know you have had your share of tragedy, I'm sure, so you know what I'm saying. Huge hugs for you my friend. Sassy will be waiting when it is our time.

I hope and pray you get another special pup to fill your life. No pup will every in a lifetime replace Sassy, but another can fill your days with endless happiness. Someday soon maybe.
