| What to do for neighbor whose Yorkie died? My neighbor just told us that her little Yorkie passed away on Friday. I am so sad for her. Her little one was younger than our Roxie. Is there something I can do? Send flowers? Bring a casserole? My heart is just breaking for this woman.

| Personally, I welcomed any gesture when dealing with the loss of my pets. Too many people dont understand, they say its "just a dog"... so when someone even sends a nice sympathy card it is so wonderful and really touching. I am sure any of the things you mentioned, flowers or a casserole would be very warmly received.

| Flowers, a casserole, a card . . I'm sure any of those things would be welcomed. So many people don't even ackowledge the death of a pet .. I was grateful for the couple of cards that I got when my maltese died. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | How thoughtful of you, it need not be a grand gesture, a card would do nicely, of course any home cooked food is always nice, just to know that people understand your pain, is always a comforting thing.

| Any of the things you mentioned would be fine... you could also check they make memorial stones with a paw print or something like that but really, just knowing that someone cares and understands will bring comfort, I'm sure. |

| I recently bought a nice photo frame for a friend that lost their dog to cancer.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That is so sad. I too would suggest a sympathy card and either a plant or frame.
