| Hi Lisa, maybe put her in a crate, in the back seat until she get use to it or in the opposite site so she can see you, is much, much safe, or a car seat

| I was going to suggest something similar. Kaji loves going bye bye, and he's getting much better at it too! He use to really freak out, especially when something got to close to the car. I put a car seat in the back seat, on the passenger side so I can see him and he can see me. He actually relaxes now! When I roll the window down, he'll hold his head up, enjoying the breeze and sniffing the air. He's less spooked, I worry less, and I drive much better.

| I feel good too, because he's attached by a harness. He's kinda forced to relax which is working for him.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Boy do I understand how you feel. My Bayleigh hates to drive anywhere. I actually walked her to our last vet apt (very close to the house). By the time we got there, she was running a fever. I felt so bad, but it was not different than driving her. She hates walks or anything out of the house. I hate it. If I force her to be in a car she will poop and throw up everywhere. I have tried crates, seats, everything and nothing works. I feel so bad because I have no other choice than to leave her behind. Good luck. I hope your situation gets better. |
