A little off topic, but I sneaked Daisy and Teddy into Marshalls in the stroller. I didn't ask permission but I just whisked them to the back (trying to hide them with the top closed) and they kept poking their little noses out. A couple of customers awwed and petted them and wanted to know where they could get a stroller too. We just checked the pet section and rushed right back out. I have a feeling they weren't supposed to be in there but luckily we didn't run to any employees.

I don't see any reason we can't take pets into stores if they are contained or are held. I would hate to take her shopping with me because if they didn't allow them into the store, I would have to turn around and head back home. Then, probably wouldn't go back and get what I needed to get. lol Probably best if I called ahead.

I'll start shopping at Marshalls! Mine likes to be held or walked, but I always carry her when I'm inside a store. I never have put mine in a carrier or purse. (I might regret that one day!).

My Hobby Lobby actually gets upset with me when I do NOT bring any pups with me! So...don't know if that is a corporate policy or just that store.

I never call and ask...I just go in. If a store does not want them, they can tell me. Otherwise, I assume it is ok....as long as there is no open food in the store.

yeah you are right. I wasn't close to home but I was parked in the lot that had Marshalls. It was just too tempting to go in with the pups. I love to see what they have in pets.

My Hobby Lobby used to make over the pups too but the last couple of times I was in there the clerks just walked by like they didn't see us. I don't know if something changed but I don't really feel comfortable with them in there anymore.
