| so glad you got him and it's working out Ryan. we just got our silky Bentley and everything has been perfect. Sadie took to him pretty quickly and now they snuggle together and love each other. he's doing great with potty training and learned to sit, lay down, and sit up "pretty" he's so great. congrats and i'm so happy for you. rescue is the best feeling and his shyness and his sad eyes should perk up soon and he'll get more used to everything. CET chews are great. we have the veggident ones at work and i bought them for the dogs. good brand, hope they work for you. Bentley isn't used to the toothbrush and he's a little on the dirty side as well. no one took care of him and he ate like crap "kibbles and bits" YUCKY. if you want any help or anything let me know since we just got our silky rescue a little before you did and maybe we can help you with what Bentley's progress is so far. CONGRATS AGAIN!! |

Thanks Lola is not taking to him as quickly...she's a little jealous but I knew that would happen. I have to kennel him during the day and I have the dog walker come by to let him potty. I tried to leave the kennel door open and put the xpen around but he got out and when I came home he was on my bed. I did find one accident on the carpet but it was small. I think I gave him to much space too fast. I will need to take baby steps with him. He doesn't know any tricks but we're working on it. I started with sit today and he starting to get it. The hardest part is not knowing where he came from or what he was taught if anything. I will keep you posted...
