| Socialise our dogs I have been going to puppy school and the trainers have been telling us we should socialise our dogs as much as we can, we have just been stopped taking Yorky to the shopping mall after 8 months, that is one way we used to like to socialise him as a lot of people used to like to talk to Yorky, and also to us, now we find we cannot do that, could Yorkie owners please let us know if they socialise their dogs and which way do they do that? I realise that we are in New Zealand and there is not a lot of people from this country that belong to the Yorkie club. Never mind I would like to have ideas from other countries too. Regards Leone. | I've been taking Jackson to the dog parks since he was 6 months old, and before that, I introduced him to all my families doggies. He's super super dog friendly and loves every one he meets. I take him as many places as I can, family gatherings, pet stores, etc.

| Leia is very shy and/or un-sure around people. She has always been like that. She is getting a bit better, but won't come up to anyone. In fact, if they pass her, she stays out of the way. She is with me all the time so she's been around people and places. I've come to the conclusion that's just the way she is. She's never been abused by anyone. |

The neighbor's grandkids are here for the weekend, and they have all taken turns petting Elliott and asking a million questions about him, usually about how tiny he is. It's been really cute, and Elliott has loved the attention, and it gives him a chance to socialize a little bit. | |
