Elliott is the exact opposite. He can't wait to meet people (and other dogs), which means I have to keep him on a short leash so he wont jump up on anyone. He has yet to meet a dog that he didn't like, and I've been lucky that all the dogs that we've encountered have been super friendly to him, too (although that Rottweiler scared me silly, it was a big as I was).

The neighbor's grandkids are here for the weekend, and they have all taken turns petting Elliott and asking a million questions about him, usually about how tiny he is. It's been really cute, and Elliott has loved the attention, and it gives him a chance to socialize a little bit.
