| To those of you with Yorkies that have shorter cuts... I am thinking of getting Roxie groomed into a shorter cut, nothing extreme, but something easily managed and still cute. Any suggestions, pictures of your yorkies that are cut this way?? My avatar pic is when I had her groomed last time, but her hair has grown so wild since then...lol...Thanks. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | I keep morgan really short most of the time. its just easier. i leave her head longer but not too long. here are a few pictures of her in various lengths. she is a cotton coat so her hair is poofy not straight and silky. the last picture is from a few days ago.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | depends on what you like. I love the extremely short bodies. Morgan right now is a 7F a/o because i just wanted to strip her down. the next time i cut her i'll just do her body and leave the legs to grow a little bit more. i can't let her legs get too long because they mat. i'm a horrible mommy with her grooming needs, i hate brushing her, especially now that that's what i do all day long at work. i just prefer the velvety softness of her shaved little body and little fluffy head. here's another with her and her giant poofy head.

| This is my Roxie! I take her to Petsmart for grooming, and she comes back looking a little different each time. Thankfully, they've never done anything really bad.

| Some pictures of lily after her haircut we got a short body longer legs and groomed face and i love it shes not due again until end of June. The last picture was taken before we went to groomers and as you can see she was very fluffy although the wind was blowing making it look wilder than usual hehe. When she goes in June going to get her ears saved shorter this time but other than that sticking with same cut yvonne xx

I keep Elliott in a puppy cut, pictures are below. First picture is in the car (with friend) right after the cut. Second picture is from about a month later. I usually get him cut every six weeks or so. | |

| I will be completely honest with you. It is silky right after you wash it, but then it poofs out, so I honestly have no clue..lol...Very new to yorkies, so I have no idea. How do we post pictures here, and I can show you what her coat looks like? Thanks. |

| Thanks to everyone for sharing their pictures! Everyone one of these little ones are just too adorable for words, and I really do like the shorter cuts. Seems easier to manage, one question though. Her facial hair is kinda long, if I decide to trim it up a bit, how long does it take for that to grow back normally? She seems so miserable in all this Carolina heat. Thanks. |
