Pete was matted pretty badly so I took him to petsmart... they had to shave him. I will never do this again, we're going to brush everyday and find another place to keep him at a puppy cut!

I gave Rily and Saydee their "summer buzz" yesterday. I like to dress my babies

so, I cut them pretty short. Both are kinda cottony, so they mat easily too.

Scooter also has a short cut (pictures to follow) and I just love how silky and sweet he feels with his short cut. Also with our terrible summers in Florida and the fact that Scoots is an outdoorsy kind of guy...the short cut is the only way to go.

I keep Levi's hair cut short - he runs around and rolls around and gets into way too many messes, so a short haircut keeps him from getting so many mats and dreadlocks.

Thanks so much everyone for all the pictures! I think def. I will be getting her groomed into one of these shorter cuts. I am not too much for bows and frills, so something short and manageable will work for us. I am going to try and post some pictures later when I get home of what she currently looks like. Thanks again!

You guys are all cutting it, and I'm trying to grow it. (he's almost a year old, and i finally convinced my husband it was MY turn to make the decisions on the cut)

With Derby having floppy ears, It's hard. I don't know what to do with them! I kept shaving up until 10 months and no luck... They kind of flip out now? It's quite humerous, They look like WINGS!!

He has a thin, cotton coat, that's wavy. The longer it gets, the flatter it sits. So I'm hoping this is the case once it gets to a nice length!

Right now I'm at battle with my hubby. He keeps telling me I'll come home one day and Derby will be SHAVED! ughhh I hope not.

I love the short look too! it looks neater, but damnit it I want to see it long too! lol!

she looks silky to me. i like her hair the way it is. its a nice length
