| Bad Rabie Shot Reaction... Our 2 year old, 5 pnd yorkie vomited and passed out in the vets office today. They gave him some injections and put him on an IV (which took 8 jabs at Max's leg!). His heart rate dropped and they thought he was going into a coma! He snapped out of it and we brought him home. He appears well and the doctor wants us to give him PREDNISONE. I surfed it and it is a steroid and has a list of side effects that has us very worried. Our Max was in perfect health and I wish we hadn't took him in. Does anyone know about PREDNISONE? Should we give it to him? |

| Bump! Would a second opinion with a different vet make you feel better? Give a different vet a call.

| My girl is on prednisone every other day - for many years - and I have not seen any bad reaction in her or had any problems other than slight weight gain. Good luck!
