| Thank you so much for your help. The plan is to pick the puppy up sooner rather than later and to access the situation at that time. I will pick up food tonight and be ready to go. I already have everything else. |

| Well I didn't know about the "12week" thing when we started looking for puppies. We looked and looked and only one of the local breeders(that wasn't charging 1000.00 for AKC or not doing AKC) never said anything about 12 weeks. I have 3 new yorkies(first time owner) all 3 from different litters different people differnt towns. 2 of them were born 3/10/2010 and 3/11/2010(a day apart) and there doing great. Eating(puppy chow is what they were on but i'm looking at changing that) I did start giving them Nurti Cal 3 times a day just to be on the safe side. They BOTH came with a 1 year Health Guarantee they weighted 1.6lbs when we brought them home that was on 4-29-2010 and there doing great. Then that Monday 5-3-2010 I got another one. She was older at 11weeks NO SHOTS and I took her STRAIGHT to my vets office to get her shots. She had been checked by a vet just no shots given. She checked out just fine and all 3 of my furbabies are adjusting well sleeping with me and going potty outside. They will wine at my back door to go out. Raider(my male) wakes me up by pulling my hair and wineing at night if he needs to go. They come to work with us and they have a room(no carpert) in the back if they do have that accident(and they have) but they will wine at my childs gate to go out. If there in there bed(which is under our desk) they will wine but stay in there bed. Good Luck I can't wait to see pics |

| UPDATE: We picked up the puppy on Saturday, or was it Sunday? I'm sorry it took few days to post, but our hands have been full. After three days, she gained 1/2 pound and is running all over the place with a shiny coat. The first day she just slept, and her hair was dull. She goes for her puppy exam tomorrow. We are feeding her human baby chicken food, nutrical, and Royal Canin babydog food. When my husband went to pick her up, the breeder was at the hospital again and a relative gave him the puppy. None of the other puppies were there, but the parents were still there. My husband said there were several people in the house. I am still surprised at how much this puppy poops and pees. We were up most of the night the first two nights, but she only got up twice last night. Thank you for all of your help! It was a very hard decision for us, but I know it was the right thing to do.

| I don't have pix yet. We took her to the vet for her first set of puppy shots, worming, and so forth. They gave us a little puppy pack including the first month's heartworm medicine and did a full exam. The cost -- only $34 bucks for EVERYTHING. We drove across town for this deal, and it's part of the reason I was able to afford raffle tickets for Yorkietalk. Our close vet quoted us $150 for the same exam. She's only 8 weeks old, but there is distemper going around in our area. The vet said she is in great health and looks good. She is itchy tonight after the shot, so I am trying very hard not to worry. My dog obsessed husband has slept on a mattress on the floor next to the backdoor since last Sunday. That way he can let her in and out and make sure she eats regularly all night. She sleeps on his pillow and chews on his ears. Our miniature poodle sleeps in her bed right next to the two of them, and our mixed breed dog who pees on everything sleeps in a crate.
