you also need to find out who is responsible because, god forbid, whichever kid's crap it is didn't just have vaccinations. Some of those viruses live in poop. Keep on extra eye on Tate for the next few days.

I'm seriously considering the camera idea. Yesterday was such a beautiful afternoon that I could hear many neighbors outside, including 2 of these 3. So I went in my backyard and loudly made a "public announcement." I made it very clear that I would be watching and that I WOULD report any other incident. Several of the neighbors were very nice and were outraged and disgusted by what happened, including one of those that uses diapers. But, the other one did not say a word - I heard them rounding everything up and they went straight inside and never came back out. I know where to focus my camera now.

That's one of the first things I thought of. Poor Tate, I couldn't stop thinking about this and wound up giving him a second bath last night. I still don't feel like he's clean.

Yep, first thing I did was grab the diaper and trash it before any of the others could get in on the fun. I snatched little Tate up at the same time and headed for the sink. Poor guy - this bothered me so much he wound up getting a second bath later on just to make mom feel better.

Nothing about people being lazy surprises me...I teach school and many kids are also doubly blessed with the lazy gene these days.

However, if it makes you feel better...I also dealt with poop faces this evening...that's plural, both girls. I let them out as I was carrying in some things from the car and both had thier faces in chicken poop. gag!

I'm sorry but that is just disgusting! My neighbors to the left have 3 in diapers and not once have any of them landed in my yard~even when she tosses them into the driveway like poop bombs to get them out of the house. The neighbors to the right have 2 in diapers and she has never launched a diaper missile at my house either. I just cannot wrap my brain around some of the things that people will do.

I've had many neighbors over the years with children in diapers and I've never, ever encountered this. This was such a shock to me because I live in a pretty nice neighborhood. Everyone keeps their lawns looking nice and takes pride in the appearance of the area. My #1 suspect is fairly new to the neighborhood...I don't remember exactly when they moved in but it wasn't very long ago. I was a little embarrassed after I made my "public announcement" yesterday but several neighbors thanked me and said they would be keeping their eyes open, so hopefully it will let these people know they can't get away with that crap (no pun intended ).

Ya' know, Bonnie, you can educate dumb people, but there doesn't seem to be a cure for ignorance sorry you had to deal w/this, and on Mother's Day! Btw, Happy Mother's Day!!! (even 'though you had to deal w/crappy neighbors, literally!)
