| Why can't we say it? It's not a swear word? It's an internet definition just like a myriad of other internet definitions used everyday on this site. Oh well, I can't edit anymore. That person has posted instigatingly in three separate threads so hopefully someone takes notice of that instead of me pointing out the obvious.

| Good for you for being strong and not buying that puppy. I made the mistake of buying a puppy from a petstore whom also gets their puppies from Hunte Corporation. You can read about my experience in this thread here. I posted about it back when I first joined YT. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...store-pug.html

Tang is getting worse lately. I actually made an appt to bring her to the vet Monday. I think it's time to do more xrays and see how her spine is looking. She can hardly use her back legs at all anymore. She is *almost* to the point of just dragging her back end behind her, not even "teetering" around like she use to. I carry her most places she has to go, but sometimes she insists on trying to get around on her own. She had a pretty bad fall the other day too. I was surprised she didn't get injured, but I guess being the chubby pug she is...she just kinda log rolled. Pugs are funny dogs.

| She turned 9 in March. To be honest, I didn't think she'd make it to 9, so I'm happy about that! She does still have happy times. When Dora was at the vet today, Missy didn't have anyone to play with, so she got Tang goin'.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | The shelters are FULL and it is hard to walk away but please remember - each dog sold for profit in a pet store will be replaced by another one - which in turn keeps those mills in BUSINESS !! the best thing is go the shelter puppy route - ask around about rescues and you'll be doing your part. Its hard but until the public wakes up and realizes the pet stores sell puppy mill dogs in 99 % of cases so IF we fall in love - we're adding to the problem by buying. it;s so so hard to walk away .....'I wish they were banned from selling pets in stores - that would cut down on the poor dogs in mills being bred over and over living their lives in tiny cages with no medical care,. |

| It is very hard to walk away. I didn't know about puppymills until after we got Addie. I can't stand to see those poor little pups in the cages, so I don't go there. I don't buy anything from a pet store that sells animals because I don't want to give them any kind of profit, even for just a squeaky toy.
