The shelters are FULL and it is hard to walk away but please remember - each dog sold for profit in a pet store will be replaced by another one - which in turn keeps those mills in BUSINESS !!
the best thing is go the shelter puppy route - ask around about rescues and you'll be doing your part.
Its hard but until the public wakes up and realizes the pet stores sell puppy mill dogs in 99 % of cases so IF we fall in love - we're adding to the problem by buying.

.....'I wish they were banned from selling pets in stores - that would cut down on the poor dogs in mills being bred over and over living their lives in tiny cages with no medical care,.
