| I live a few hours from Houston. When we go, we always visit Schlitterbahn (in Galveston) Then there's Kemah which is like a small fair. You can google Kemah and Schlitterbahn and get prices, etc. If you have children the Houston Childrens museum is excellent and it's free on Thursdays from 5-8. Hope this helps. Also the mall in Houston is fun to check out! One place to avoid: Harwin drive. It's kinda like Chinatown? in NY but very dangerous. There have been some recent homicides. You will probably get good rates in Kemah as I wouldn't know where to recommend in Houston. I know there are good parts and bad parts to stay at.... Anyhow, good luck and congrats on your new baby!

| Honestly Harwin has a very fun shopping center(huchy momma outfits). It's first time I hear Harwin it's dangerous, maybe Sharpstown area I can believe that. Schlitterbahn (in Galveston) is also great. A must see mall is the Galleria one of the biggest malls you'll see. If your interested in the night live I recommend Midtown. Do you know what part of Houston you want to stay at? Westchase rates might be a little cheaper than Galleria area and you will still be close to everything near downtown. Let me know what you plan to experience I'm a Houstonian and know the ghetto to the classy places. You can experience real Mexican(not Tex-Mex) and other Internationals food. Houston is known for their restaurants . Do you have kids? Instead of Kemah I would say Moody gardens if you do. Ok i just saw no kids, still nice. Well let me know if you like tacos from a trailer or a nice fancy wine dinner
