oh well hopefully when she growns up she'll be cute...

Some one said the exact same thing to my Mother about my sister. She turned out ok. Naturally, Mom was fired up and ready to start bobbing and weaving!

LMHO! WTG Rocco & Roccos mom too! Most of the comments I hear about Tuffy are on the positive side but twice now people have commented on his nose..."Gosh, he has a very long nose, is he mixed with something?" NO..."Are you sure?"...at this point I've given up. But next time I'll be ready for em when they ask I'll tell them yes, he's mixed with a Rottweiler! Bet that'll be a Kodak moment.

As matter of fact he's doing his best one now...he's pretending he's really happy to see you when in fact, he's peeing on your shoe because it's his favorite place to do potty. You better stop petting him before he has to go number 2". I immediately turned and started walking away with Rocco (who really WAS peeing on her shoe because he was excited

). I smiled all the way home!!

I can't be the only one who feels sorry for the ignorant ladies...

Getting peed on is nothing to joke about IMO, just gross. When I used to get questions like these (rarely happens anymore, since one of my new yorkies is very hostle to strangers and I have a terrible time trying to train him to be "nice"), I always would explain with minimal sarcasm that yes, they are full grown, no, they were not the same breed as Toto, yes, they act much the same as any other dog and love to play fetch and do anything any other terrier likes to do (including roll in skunk spray if you let them).

Igorant people just need to be educated if they will listen, at least the ladies agreed Rocco was cute, and that is a start.
