| Prayers for Baxter and Mimi Please All- If you have a moment and can offer a prayer for my friends dogs Baxter and Mimi it would be appreciated. Baxter and Mimi were both attacked by a Dalmatian this morning while they were out for their morning walk. The Dalmatian, a new addition to our neighborhood had broken away from his leash and managed to get Mimi in his mouth, bite her a few times and shook her - I am not sure exactly what happened to Baxter. Mimi, an 8 lb Silky and Baxter, a 13 lb Shorkie are both currently at the emergency vet with their Mom and Dad. Baxter has some puncture wounds but Mimi got it the worst and now she is being X Rayed also since the dog did shake her (Thanks Yorkie Talk I did learn that here from reading previous threads and advised the Mom to request X Rays). If you have a moment and could offer a prayer it would be appreciated. Sophie Kate and I would be very grateful (Mimi is Sophie Kate's BFF). Thank you all. Cheryl

| Thank you, honestly I think this has changed me for life -if not for a very long time. I have never heard two animals cry out in pain in such a way, it was horrible. Sophie Kate and I were outside when it happened but in another part of our neighborhood. My friend had to pick up Mimi the badly wounded dog and run with her while Baxter ran beside her on her leash. Thank goodness I threw Sophie Kate in the house really quick and was able to help. My friend just told me that the Dalmatian actaully grabbed Mimi out of her arms and started attacking her. I am trying very hard to not think ugly thoughts about the Dalmatian. I am the President of my HOA and I need to remain open minded but trust me that dang homeowner is getting HUGE fine - for what I am not sure.

| Prayers are being said. I can't imagine the pain the owner is in over this. I am so distraught hearing this has happened. Poor babies. It makes me want to hold mine closer than ever.

| Awwwwwww, so sad ...this is my biggest fear, when I walk my kidz...Most of the time, no dogs are off leash, in my neighborhood, but once in a while, someone will have their big dog w/them in the front yard, and it will come charging towards us...Every single time, the owner says "oh, I'm so sorry", but sorry doesn't get it, when something like this happens...will pray for your friends babies, for sure! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I will keep them both in my prayers for a full recovery. It's so sad we have to be afraid to walk our dogs anymore.
