I had my doubts from the get go that this was a true story. Your last post now says that you don't know where they live. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't buy this whole thread.

No. I they live in a trailor park. I don't know which trailor it is. The guy took me to the park but would not take me to the trailor . he had me park. nevermind. i don't want anything. i will figure it out. I would never make up a story like this. ever ever. I have been a mess. my god!

Oh gosh, I hope you get your baby back. We can all empathize with you and how afraid for your baby you must be.
A couple here in the Atlanta area had their little yorkie stolen from their front yard, and they were able to get the story on the news. Several radio stations and even the evening news. If you don't get your baby back from these people, then I suggest you try to get the media involved. It's a special interest story, and so terribly sad. The dog was returned within a couple days. Just don't give up.
People have also had their small dogs stolen from their cars in this area.

You need to tell the police what is going on. What the thieves are doing to you is call "extortion," and it is a felony.

I agree with this. Do you have a police report of the incident? Solicitations for donations are not allowed on Yorkietalk and can cause you to be suspended. I hope people will take a step back from this, and try to get some facts. Why was your dog alone in the front yard?

That would be the Long Beach Police Department.

But, you bring up good questions.

If she went to the house the first time, she should file a police report. The officers will take action if she guides them to the house.

I'm very familiar with Long Beach, living in Huntington Beach most of my adult life. There are parts of Long Beach that are very undesireable, places you wouldn't enter at night. I for one wouldn't ever allow my dog in the front yard in this city.

I haven't read the entire thread, but enough to sit back and think.... why did the OP say in the first post "my baby has been kidnapped" and then things progress to needing a ransom.

Honestly, if someone took one of my dogs from my yard, I would tend to say, they were stolen, taken, or something like that.... but the word kidnapped is a special word that automatically infers that they are being held for ransom. Hummm. Then the OP confirms, ransom, and needs money. I hope with all my heart that this is not a ploy to take advantage of caring YT members here, but if it is, it will not be the first, nor will it be the last. Think about it everybody, check the facts before emptying your wallet.

I believe it and have no regrets in contributing. It didn't break the bank and all I want is for this baby to come home. If the police get involved so be it...
