| Yorkie Depressed? My 6 month old Yorkie used to bark when I left the house, now he has stopped and I'm wondering if he's depressed or simply has accepted it. Believe me, I like that he doesn't bark since it is stressful. My routine has always been the same. Kisses, kong, flip on radio and leave. Anyone have any thoughts? |

| IMO if thats they only he is onlyacting different when you leave, he may just be accepting it. He realizes that you are coming back and doesn't freak out as much anymore. Kobe recently stop going crazy when i leave the house in the morning... he only goes crazy if i close him in the room. But if he can watch me out the front door or the living room window he doesn't bark. HTH

Donating YT 500 Club Member | He's probably just accepted that you'll be back and isn't worried about it. That's a good thing. I wouldn't worry about it. Roxy puts on her sad face once she realizes she's not going with us. She knows. When we get home, she's doing her happy dance and great big smile.

| Thanks all! I was hoping that he accepted it, but wanted to get some opinions. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | I think lexi has gotten the hang of me leaving every now and then. She now waits patiently by the door when I leave, then when she realizes i'm not coming, she goes up to my room and sleeps =D She's been pretty good. Almost trust her without her play pen. Soon she'll be free to roam as she pleases =D
