IMO if thats they only he is onlyacting different when you leave, he may just be accepting it. He realizes that you are coming back and doesn't freak out as much anymore.
Kobe recently stop going crazy when i leave the house in the morning... he only goes crazy if i close him in the room. But if he can watch me out the front door or the living room window he doesn't bark.
