just wanted to let you know about Command 3M brand hooks. They stick on the wall and when you are done you can remove them with no damage to the wall. They are fabulous and strong enough to hold Christmas wreaths, bathrobes, etc. I once decorated an entire school with them(for their Christmas fair). I would use them on the wall next to the door versus hanging the bells on the door, this way you won't have confusion when just opening the door. You can buy them at any drug store, Target or Walmart.

That's what I use, too (3M hooks). For us, it just worked better to have the bells hanging beside the door vs. on it to avoid confusion.

I found a training set at our local Walmart in the pet department. The set has a set of bells on a door hanger, a little instruction booklet and a little zippered bag with a roll of plastic bags for potty clean up. I recall this set was approximately $9.00 or maybe less.

I have been working on training my pomeranian puppy and now also including our new yorkie with this training. I just tell both puppies, "Outside" "Potty" and ring the bells. So far, they are not ringing the bells. I know this works from talking with several people that use this method of training. Just takes awhile. I have heard it could take a month or longer.

I managed to have our Pom puppy housebroken before 4 months. I know to expect accidents since he is very young. So far, he does really well.

Hoping our yorkie will be just as easy to train.
