| ![]() I only paid 500 for my baby usher. I thought the breeder was great after I met her. She showed my his parents, and I had a choice of him and his brother. She did provide papers but not for breeding of my baby. Now that I have done more research it is probably due to his size. He is only 2.4 at 24 months and holding strong at that weight. But he was perfectly healthy and the perfect size for us. Also I really could not justify paying more for a puppy that what I paid to get my son into this world. Also he was born on 10/28 and I picked him up on 1/7 and he was litter trained and moved right over to puppy pads and only has had a few accidents only when I moved his paper or he thougth we were leaving him so he rushed to finish his business leaving a nice trail to follow. | ![]() here's an interesting article i found online about how this particular breeder prices her pups ... http://www.teacupangels.net/docs/how_we_price_our_puppies.pdf and ... a breeder may not let people into their home to protect the puppies. germs cling to clothing, skin and hair so everyone coming in to my home is asked if they've been to a pet shop or another breeder's home earlier that day and if so i ask them to please come back another time. all visitors remove their shoes outside the door, leave their coats by the door and wash their hands before they touch anything. my puppies are not handled by the family until they are 8 weeks old and the mom's aren't handled until after the litter is weaned. this may seem excessive but i know a breeder who lost her entire nursery because someone came to her home right after visiting a pet store and brought a deadly virus with them which made me a little paranoid. good luck finding a puppy! |
