I was afraid that they would have to muzzle Louis, but they didn't. It's amazing how they are so small, but put up such a big fight.

| This is a very good advice!! I will do this.. but he might already be used to it as I love playing with his paws as they are soo cute and I also wash all of his paws after going for walks outside. At first he hated it but now he stays calm and waits for the end of it... same with washing his bum hahah he actually loves it now as he does not have to drag his bottom on the floor after doing his business.

| I don't clip Pixie's toe nails. When she goes to the groomer they clip them there. I did it once and cut to close and she jerks all the time. So I'll let someone else do it.

| It took me years not to be afraid to clip the pups' nails here. (And I only clip the very ends of the nails.) What I do is get the nail clipper out, every time I brush the pups. I either let them smell the clipper or just do one or two nails. They are used to it now and I actually have become quite brave about this too. Plus their nails never get too long. Sorry you had trouble at the vets and hope things get better.

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | LORD are they not little drama queens or what ? I hate laughing but some of your posts made me..... ![]() I had a hard time with my 2 but did what Quicksilver said - a little at a time and over the years now they're very good about it...well - not very good - but better than when they were young I don't know what it is about Yorkies and their feet....my cocker Tessa would HAND me her paws for clipping When mine are at the vet - they get awards for best behavior - I always get jealous they act so good for the them - but I think it's cause they're intimidated and know the vet's office is NOT a fun visit - ever. They get very subdued but are pretty good |

It's great knowing how good they act for others but it would be nice if they did it for US woudn't it ?My son told me my girls are totally different when I'm not home - he said they hardly bark or run around like silly fools but when I come home - watch out - they get possessed for 10 minutes and Lord help me if someone rings the doorbell when I'm home | |

| Maybe because our babies know we are their mommies and know that we have allowed them to climb on our heads.. whereas with other people they act like they are all proper and well behaved
