How do know what kind of coat they have?

Pictures can be deceptive and manipulated when it comes to green eye shine. But if you're seeing a green reflection in daylight or even in a dark room, then it's a silky coat.....that has never been proven wrong to me.

You can also place your yorkie in a darkened room and use a flashlight to shine into the room towards their eyes and get a reflection of green, amber or gold. Green will be a silky coat, amber or gold will be modified or soft.

I had to look to see how old she is. She's still a youngster. I would think you would see it thicken as time passes. I did. Plus, you have to trim the bottom of her skirt occasionally anyway.
