| Mine was last fall, Shay was about 8 months old....barely 2 pounds....My husband has a ritual, with him, where he comes in from work and sits on the floor, and loves on Shay for a few minutes. So, on said day, my husband walked in, instead of sitting down, he walked over to me, and was stretching his legs (UPS man, runs all day) well Shay must of thought he was going down to sit and play with him, and Shay jumped up, as hubby was coming up, and he fell over, and knocked himself out! I thought he was dead, his eyes rolled back he wasnt moving, we were terrified, so off we went to ER...by time we got there he was awake and walking around the room.....whew! worse day ever!!!!!

| It's scary to even think of anything happening to my precious baby!!! I've had a couple scares with Boo-Boo, but the worst was a couple weeks after I got him. I took him down state so my mom could meet her new grandpuppy. We were running in the front yard toward the house and for some reason, boo jumped in front of me and I stepped on him. He howled and whined and had one of his rear legs pulled up to his body. I thought for sure that I had broken his leg!!! I was crying and freaking out because we were five hours from our vet. I grabbed him and ran inside and found a number for a vet nearby. While I was on hold with the vet I set boo down on the floor. When I finally got ahold of someone and was explaining what happened up comes boo.....standing on his hind legs looking at me as if to say.."hey mom, whatcha doin?' He was perfectly fine...just being a drama queen... |
