| Why doesn't he wag :( My dogs Barney and Daisy wag and wiggle when they see me come home. They just wag and wag. Teddy is different. He does not wag He gives kisses and tries to climb up my leg with his long legs so I think he's glad I'm home, but he just does not wag. He always has his tail up like a little flag but it just doesn't wag. Here's the confusing part. He DOES wag and wag and wag and wag when he sees some people - as in the oil delivery man, the mailman, visitors to the house (even if they are strangers to him), the fedex and ups guys, the other dogs, etc. He just does not wag at me or my husband. What gives? Am I old shoe?

| All I can say is that he is still young and he might change! Kind of makes you feel like an old shoe, doesn't it?

| I can see why this would be disconcerting for you. For the longest time when Bella was a puppy she would not wag for me! She would wag at my parents, my husband, and strangers, but never for me! Now i am the one she gets the most excited for upon coming home, and she wags her tail like crazy. Overall, compared to Rocco, she still doesn't wag as much. Give Teddy some time, and his lil tail will probably come around! Either way, at least you know that he is happy to see you, he just shows it in his own way by standing on your legs and giving you kisses

| Bailey doesn't wag her tail around us very much either - and believe me, I watch for it! She wags a little when she plays - and does it lots around other people. As long as he curls up in MY lap - I can live with it.
