Welcome, I am happy that you joined.
I must say that when I read your first post I knew that this was going to happen. I do not think that there are too many people on this site that are mean-spirited or anything I just think that they are bold people and tell it like it is. There is nothing wrong with that but sometimes people can interpret them wrong. I hope that you stay and have fun on this site there are many things to learn here. I think your babies are beautiful.

That's because they don't. Nor is there a petion to get the AKC to register them. That is not how a breed is granted AKC registration.

However, puppies born from an AKC reg parti yorkie and a German registered Biewer are still considered pure Biewer Yorkies in Germany and can be registered with the orignial clubs that register Biewers there.

I will be posting pics of some parti yorkie sired Biewer pups soon. For those who want to see the difference in the Biewer to Biewer bred pups.

since you are great friends as a result of your experiences, maybe you could just let your friend know about this standard ... maybe she doesn't know and she and her remaining puppies could benefit from this knowledge....

Unfortunately it's not just Jackson 25. I'm a little well a lot caught off guard by the nature and tone of many of these messages. As for what I can learn from this site, that's up to me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and reasons for being here none of which give us the right to impose that on anyone else. Especially new people who are coming on for the first time. It's funny to me that someone just called me out on my strong tone of voice (I think the irritation is completely understandable) and not the person that started this whole thing!! Luckily tomorrow is another day. I think if I could figure out how cancel my account I would. This is just so not what I expected it to be. Again, I appreciate those of you who have been nothing but kind, encouraging, welcoming and
complimentary! You are who I am choosing to focus on tonight! Getting off now and will

Just talked to my breeder to verify the age she let Louis go and it was 11 weeks 6 days and Paris was 12 weeks and 3 days...proof that she is not "unethical" sad that I have to even defend that to people I don't know...wow.

And I don't plan on telling a very successful 17 year breeder of high quality yorkies how to do her job. Friend or no friend. She has done phenomenal so far (as you can see by my dogs) and giving her my opinion would be as ridiculous as some of the opinions I've received here today...

I haven't read this entire thread, because it seems to have gone off track. I'm always interested in hearing about white yorkies, because I am pretty sure that in a few years, Thor will be completely white. He started off as a black pup just like any other yorkie, even at three years old, his coat continues to lighten. When I got him at two, he had some steel blue on his shoulders, but that is now a very light blue, and his butt is basically white.

I've seen on other yorkie in the flesh with the same coloring - he was completely white, with a few black streaks. I haven't seen this gene expression described anywhere on YT, so I am curious to learn more.


The hair itself is beautiful, super-soft and shiny. A passerby recently described him as "luminous"!
The OP's pups seem a little different to me, because the pup was born white, while Thor was not.

Correction: Mixing breeds is not breeding a high quality Yorkie! Don't get me wrong your dogs are cute but lets get the facts straight here.

Thanks for your interest in Paris! Thor sounds gorgeous! Her hair has the same texture! It is almost like cotton candy and swings when she walks it also is luminous!! She has the most beautiful personality! Laid back, calm, a real snuggler! Very interested to see what Napoleon will turn out like! He is as white as his mama all over so I wonder if he will stay that way! Will continue to post pictures if I can make it through today's mayhem and foolishness alive!! LOL. Look forward to talking with you again soon!

I realize that this could have turned out badly for many reasons but luckily Paris safely delivered one healthy baby boy (napoleon) last Friday (3/19/10) who much to our suprise was also completely white! All of their pictures are posted on my page! I am glad to find this community and look forward to starting friendships with other people who love yorkies! The posters responded to what you had said...they did not know that you had made a mistake. If you had posted the correct age that they were released, the posts would have been different.

Everyone here is trying to inform you. Just because one breeder told you something does not make it right. I had a mentor once who was really wacko, but until I talked with more folks about things I knew nothing. I thought she knew everything and was helping me.



We are very passionate about our babies. I would hate for someone to read this thread and have the wrong information. That's why it is important for those with knowledge to come forth and let everyone know what they know.
