according to the yorkshire terrier club of america's code of conduct: "
All puppies leaving the breeders possession will be a minimum of twelve (12) weeks of age to facilitate adequate socialization as well as appropriate emotional and temperament development through interaction with siblings, dam and other dogs."
as you can find on the AKC website, the YTCA is the parent club of the yorkshire terrier breed.
no one is saying that your breeder did anything illegal. however, please recognize the difference between illegal and unethical (by which i think jackson25 means that it goes against the code of conduct of the YTCA) ... they are 2 different standards....
since you are great friends as a result of your experiences, maybe you could just let your friend know about this standard ... maybe she doesn't know and she and her remaining puppies could benefit from this knowledge....
just something to consider.....
