| Pregnant with a yorkie!!! So I was wondering who on here was pregnant while they also had their yorkie(s)?? I was wondering what you did, if you did anything special, to help prepare your pooch for the new comer of the family? My boyfriend and I are suprisingly pregnant, and while Martini loves when my friends babies come to visit, I just dont want her to feel left out or jealous when we have a baby.

| Hi; When I was pregnant with my son 6 years ago, we were concerned of how our 4 pomeranian will react when we were bring our baby home. We ask the vet and he told us as soon the baby was born to take the blanket or hat from the baby and let them smell it. My husband did this for two days and when we brought the baby home, we let them smell him. Everything turn out fine, the famale use to watch him sleep and as soon he started crying she would start barking to let me know he was up. Now my son love them and they love my son. Good luck and congratulation!! |

| Forget teacups, pocket babies, purse babies, I want to be pregnant with a yorkie! Has to be less painful to deliver 3oz than 9lbs!

| On a serious note, I don't have children and can't, but if I could I would choose not to anyways. My yorkies are attached at my hip and I don't think they would understand my attention being taken away from them. When we have wee ones visit, they don't much like me holding the wee ones, much less even talking to them. But I have made them that way due to the fact I don't have children so they get spoiled rotten!
