Reminds me of a couple of years ago and hair scrunchies from China, I saw the pictures. A hair tie had come unraveled, inside the band was made up of CONDOMS!!!! EWWW!!

Not as dangerous as a razor blade though!

I would definitely get in touch with the $ store corporate office and at least tell them.....I would mention that "I am sure you would not want to get sued" (not that you want to sue them) Or just tell them that "I am sure that you would not want this advertised and cause loss of sales"!!!!.....to prevent another incident that may not have such a happy ending.....

OMG!!!! Thank God they weren't hurt. What if the angle was such that the blades were vertical...omg, walking on the bed or lying down could have been a disaster. (Sorry about the "What ifs.") It could have been really bad.

I agree with LilliMae and Jellybears. They should be made aware of this. Usually if items don't sell well in one place, they are sent to another store location and if they are discontinued, they are sent to salvage stores. It's hard to tell how many of those same beds are still on a shelf somewhere. A lot of times, those kind of incidents are not isolated.
I'm sooo glad they weren't hurt!!!

What a horrible thing to do, thank goodness your babies are ok!!! I would definitely take it back to where it was purchased. Even if they don't do anything, at least you'll feel better that you made them aware of the problem!

That is very scary. I know I work during the day so I can't imagine my baby tearing up his bed while I am gone and finding something like that. This could have really ended up a nightmare. Glad your baby is ok.

Thank heavens your pups were not cut! How awful. Please get in touch
with the manager of the store and send a letter to the corporate office.
They need to know about this. My granddaughter always cuddles up in
Buddy's bed when she comes, the thought of her sitting on a razor blake
is terrifying. I hope no other's are out there. Someone has a very sick
mind, not surprising if this item came from abroad.

I am sho happy your little ones are safe.

99.9% of the stuff from those dollar type stores, and Walmart are made in China!!!

Prince's mom is sooo very right!! And this is why they can have such low prices! Walmart do have a little better of a quality though! I have found some pretty cute things at Walmart BUT a Dollar Store???!! I dunno, maybe it's just me but I don't trust anything for pets or chrildren from the Dollar Stores! The only thing I get for Lucky from there are the Doggie poo bags!!
But Wow!!!!A razor blade in a pet bed? That's horrific!! Makes me wonder how many more were purchased and don't know, until something bad happens!? Crazy world!!

I never buy dog things from the dollar store. I looked at their dishware once and there was a "Warning" sticker on it. "Chemicals on this dish may cause cancer, not intended for consumable use" I can't even imagine what's on their plastic dog dishes from China. I only buy books or paper stuff for my class or well known, brand name food items.
I warned this couple who was about to purchase a full set of dishes....showed them the warning stcker. They quickly put them back. I suggested Target if they really wanted a inexpensive safe dish set.
