| Information about ... I don't know if this is the correct forum to post this question, but does anyone know, good, bad or ugly, about New Jersey yorkie breeders(newjerseyyorkiebreeders . com)? I'm looking to avoid a puppy from a mill and any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

| bad site I think. They have one for every state and they get their dogs from all over and ship them. My husband called them and asked them a question about if they were specifically just for CT and they got very defensive. I think they buy their dogs from a lot of puppy mills. There are a lot of wonderful breeders on YT. Where are you located?

| Hello Spirit. I'm in Middlesex county., NJ. I'm specifically looking for a female black and tan that, when fully grown will be in the 4-5 Lbs range. I'm in absolutely no hurry and have been searching for the past three months or so and I'm doing everything possible to keep away from a puppy mill, but with prices as high as they are it's become a bit of a disappointment. Sometimes the places I come across seem legitimate and I was hoping this was one. The search continues. Thanks for the input... it's appreciated. |

| Have you thought about a rescue. Their are even some here on YT. I paid 1500 for my dog and I think the average is between 1000 and up for a female. Sometimes you pay for what you get if you know what I mean. I also think that you have to consider that there is going to be the cost of vet bills, sometimes unexpected vet bills, and spaying. Sometimes if you can't really afford a puppy you are better off rescuing a yorkie that is already spayed. It's just a thought... good luck
