I disagree with anyone that says if you can't afford to pay $1,000 that you shouldn't buy a dog. I have several dogs that I paid less than that for and I take good care of them. None of them have caused me outrageous vet bills and none of them have been sickies from the word go. Just be selective on the dog you buy and make a wise choice. Having lots of money doesn't necessarily make you a better more responsible pet owner. I am like you when I say I wouldn't be able to pay $1,500 or more for a dog. |
