| What is the funniest thing your Yorkie ever did This is one of my most funniest moment with Lacey. It still makes me laugh and think about the good times I had with her. Lacey loved all of us, but she was really crazy about my dad. He spoiled her rotten. Well, this is what happened about a month or two before she died. My dad was in the living room watching TV and he left his hat on the bed. Well, Lacey thought my dad was in the bed because all she saw was his hat. She was old and had cataracs. Well, she kept barking and barking. So, we went in the bedroom to see what she was barking about. She wanted to get in the bed with my dad. But, my dad all that while was in the living room. She kept barking at his hat assuming he was underneath the hat lying down. Too funny! |

| This is another funny thing that makes me laugh. Lacey always had chronic ear infections due to mites. I guess it is common in the Yorkie breed. So, my mom would take her to the vet and come back with some ear drops. Lacey hated it! Ever time she would see my mom with that bottle, she would run behind the couch and my mom would have the hardest time catching her. We could not even say the word medicine. If we said the word medicine, she would go behind the couch and not come out. |

| Lacey must have been some fantastic little dog. It's fun to remember the fun things, isn't it? I had a friend with a bird dog that used to grin all of the time. I mean would pull up that upper lip and grin at everyone. He looked so goofy, but oh so loveable. He was the sweetest thing. Well, one day during lunch I was talking to Muffin in this silly voice that we silly yorkie moms use so much and out of the blue she grinned at me like that. She pulled up her upper lip and completely showed her upper teeth and the rest of her life she grinned at me like that. I couldn't believe it that day at lunch that my silly, happy-go-lucky yorkie would have ever done such a thing as that silly bird dog! It still makes me smile and even giggle to picture it in my mind when she'd grin at me.

| Debbie- your stories are too funny! One morning I was getting ready for work and Olivia and my cat were running around chasing each other and wrestling. I started hearing this really fast scratching noise in the cat litter box and I thought Olivia was on a treasure hunt. I ran into the room ready to yell, and she was peeing in the litter box! I guess she thought since her brother does it so can she! |

| naughty Beamer This character loves to tease my 16 year old daughter! if she leaves her bottom dresser drawers open he will go and pull all her clothes out of the drawers and pull them downstairs to the living room! He than lays down in the dresser drawers and falls asleep right before she comes home from school! He will do this if she leaves clothes on her bedroom floor as well! She gets pretty embarrassed especially when her friends come home with her! Beamer has been doing this for about a year, we can't figure out why.....and its only her clothes!! lol........its Beamers world! Abbey of course gives him her famous "miffed looks".......

| Another thing that Lacey used to love to do was toss her bone in the air. We used to always tease that she should be a basketball player. She was see her rawhide bone lying on the living room floor and she acted like she was going to attack it. She always had to toss it in the air a few times before lying on the floor to chew on it. She also used to jump on the tip top of our couch like she was a cat and chew on it. We always were afraid she was going to fall backward from the top of the couch and hurt herself. Once my mom was taking her for a ride in the car and she was so excited as always. She got so excited that she fell off the car seat into the little trashcan my mom used to keep on the car floorboard. When Lacey was a puppy, she used to to the craziest thing with her waterbowl. We used to keep her water in a little tin bowl in the laundry room. Well, Lacey being in the puppy stage would take her waterbowl in her mouth and go dump it on our living room floor every single time. Giving us a mess to mop up. So, after a few days of that, we bought her a heavier water bowl that she could not pick up. But, I laugh about it now. |

Your water bowl story reminded me of a chihuahua we used to have. When she was a tiny puppy, she was so little that my mom fed her in my play dishes! Anyway...I don't remember if this happened just this one time or more often, but I saw her eat her dinner out of that little plate in the kitchen and then when she was done she picked up the little plate and carried it into the living room.

| My puppies love to tease each other. They will pick up ANYTHING, a leaf, a toy, a bone - then they pretend it is such a treasure, with their little butt in the air and jumping around til the others start chasing them. Then they just run and run. Under any chair is base and they all stop and wait for the chasee to come out to run again. I can watch them chase each other for hours (and I do, every day.)

| My son has a Border Collie named Missy who is more spoiled than any Yorkie you have ever seen! When we brought Toto over the first time it was "hate at first sight"! She has never tried to hurt her, but if looks could kill .... anyway, Missy's favorite thing on earth is a frisbie [cloth ones] and she always has one nearby "just in case". One day when Toto was still less than 2 lbs., we were in the den watching TV and Missy was "glaring" at Toto, Toto got the frisbie, drug it into the middle of the room, looked straight at Missy, crawled over in the middle and peed a big puddle!! It just gave a whole new meaning to "in your face"!!!
