I would steal it and find a good home far away. |

Back in college, my brother saw his neighbor kick their australian shepherd puppy down the stairs...so he stole it right off their back porch one night...and gave her to my mom...who loved her for 16 years! Gotta say...I'm kinda proud of my brother for that one... Francie |
I have and will do it again if I thought I had to. |
I would steal her, but its a cop's house. I would need to get her out of my neighborhood/city/state asap. I dont have the means to do that right now. |
And I am not calling the authorities. I'm not sure if it is this way everywhere, but the ASPCA here wouldn't do anything if its a cop's house. Cops can make people's/organization's lives miserable here if they want to. Heck -- Domestic violence victims don't even get help here if the abuser is a cop. I am so upset and have been thinking about this all day. Its like I'm in a trap. I know its cruel of me to think this, but I wish I would have never saw what I saw. Ignorance is bliss. I feel so badly for the Yorkie, but feel like there's no way to do anything. |

I'd probably just have to kill them and bury them in the basement like in Arsenic and Old Lace. Really, document and report seems the most sensible, but if you have the courage, just knock on their door and try to assess the situation. |
I knocked on the door yesterday and that's when I realized how bad it was :( |

I would find a way to take the dog if possible. I have the same situation now. One of my neighbors lets their yorkie run loose all the time in the neighborhood. Our street is busy and hes gonna get hit. I told my husband the next time i see him out roaming I am gonna take him and find him a new home. |
abuse What type of abuse have you seen? What I think is abuse, the animal control has told me, isn't!! I knew someone who kept their Yorkies in the an unheated or AC'ed garage..they had styrofoam ice chest filled HAY for bedding. Animal C told me my Yorkies did not live like dogs and these Yorkies were perfectly fine..they had shelter, food and water..that is all that is required...well, excuse me! |

Like myself for instance, if any Yorkie isn't allowed to lie on a satin pillow, the're abused, LOL. (just trying to add a little humor to a sad situation, that's all.) |
