I am so happy that JR. is getting a second chance of life. LIfe is too precious to just give up on a baby that may be ok after surgery and have a fine life afterwards.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and this little puppy. Please keep us posted on the outcome.

Your little guy looks just like mine who 3 weeks ago was diagnosed with a partial collapsed lung and pneumonia and looked like he wouldn't make it. I spent a fortune on him. One week at the vet, 3 days in emergency hospital and then I brought him home and nursed him with his meds and coupage with humidifier 4 times a day. Happy to say I think he is going to be ok.

Your message gave me tears of sadness. I understand and salute your bravery to let him go. Don't know how I will handle that when the time comes. Just to let you know I will be thinking of you.

I'm just checking in to see if you made it and so glad to see you're awaiting surgery! I never knew that they'd do transplants for dogs? Maybe I read that wrong...have to reread. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you both!

Just had to check before going to bed ... so happy that I did! Thank God that he at least was given a chance at life. I will continue to pray for this baby and for good news!! God bless you for giving him this opportunity.

Unfortunately little Junior did not pull through, the anesthesia was too much for his heart (as the vet had feared) and he did not pull through. Junior is in heaven but I know now that he is eating whatever he wants and playing with other puppies. Miss you Junior, R.I.P

Oh, I am so very sorry for your loss of Junior. I'm glad that he had so many people trying to save him. You did all you could for the little guy. Poor sweet angel. Sending hugs your way and I want to know that I think you are very special and brave.

I am so sorry. However, a part of me feels happy for Junior, knowing that his owner and breeder (especially his owner!!) did so much to keep him alive and give him the chance he deserved. Even if it was not meant to be, I have to commend you for the money and time spent and tears cried over this sweet baby boy. You did all that you could do, and it is better than having given up completely.
