| Help-Adding to our Family & Need Advice I already have a precious little furbaby (Jussi) who is almost 1-yr. old and a ball of energy. We will soon be adding 2 little girls to our happy home. I can hardly wait but I'm getting a little nervous that maybe I won't do something right with them. I've only ever had one other dog in my life years ago and never more than one at a time. Can anyone share some advice as to how to handle two at once? Do I feed them from the same bowl? Can I let them sleep together in the same little kennel? And, how do I make sure that the adjustment goes well with my little baby boy. I don't want him to feel left out and I really, really want him to except his new sisters and for them to accept and play well with him. HELP!!! (LOL) Please pass on any information or suggestions. THANKS! __________________

| Congratulations to you and your family! I'm adding to my family as soon as weather permits me to pick up the addition. The breeder recommended that we have the two dogs meet on neutral territory -- outside of their respected homes. In my case, neither of the boys are pups. As for sharing the same crate, if your pups are siblings and are accustomed to sharing, I don't see why not. They might be more comfortable that way. I have seen many pictures here on YT of dogs choosing to "room" together. However, I'm not sure if there would be a downside if using the crate for potty training. Food bowls -- in my novice opinion, it might be best if each pup had her own so that you can monitor food intake. |

| Thank you for your response. I think I will let them sleep together since the kennel is small enough that they won't potty in it but large enough to hold both of them. As for our other little furbaby he has his own kennel that he uses on occasion but most of the time he sleeps with us.

| No advice for you since I have only one yorkie and a rottie. Though they do sleep together sometimes. And eat together, if you count Missy running in and taking a crumble out of Teddy's bowl and running out like a little theif! Anyway, I just want to say conmgratulations on your soon to be new additions!!! I bet Jussi is going to have alot of fun with some new playmates!!!! Good luck. |

| Congratulations! No big advice.. just love them all. I am sure you will do great. They are all still young and will play together, and keep each other occupied, and get into three times as much trouble....LOL |
