Congratulations to you and your family!
I'm adding to my family as soon as weather permits me to pick up the addition. The breeder recommended that we have the two dogs meet on neutral territory -- outside of their respected homes. In my case, neither of the boys are pups.
As for sharing the same crate, if your pups are siblings and are accustomed to sharing, I don't see why not. They might be more comfortable that way. I have seen many pictures here on YT of dogs choosing to "room" together. However, I'm not sure if there would be a downside if using the crate for potty training.
Food bowls -- in my novice opinion, it might be best if each pup had her own so that you can monitor food intake.
