| Yep - Manhattan here too. And honestly I have yet to find one that really did a great job for the cost. Vets here are insane too. My own doctor is cheaper then theirs! I decided one year to get titers on one because I am anti vaccine and that with the cost of the visit was over $650....just to tell me the vaccines we gave her 5 years ago was still valid! What a shock - now I just take my chances and dont vaccinate. It says a lot that a one year rabies still is active 5 years later and if I listened to the vet she would have had 4 more in system unnecessarily. Maybe if they were backyard dogs I would worry more but now I only take my kids out on leash and even wear those little balloon galoshes for their paws because city sidewalks skeeve me and I was having to bathe them after ever walk before I found them. They are like little yellow condoms for their paws and they dont mind them that much because they can still grip the floor with the rubber. |

| I've only taken Darwin once and we were at the groomers for over an hour as she did his nails, shaved his ears and spent a lot of time just getting him to settle down. I was shocked when she said $10 and that was Canadian dollars LOL. I found myself arguing with her and I ended up paying $20. Mind you maybe it was that cheap because it was our first time there with our Yorkie. I am trying to learn how to trim him now - not trying to be cheap but would like the convenience of not having to leave the house when he needs grooming. By the way Axel is a little cutie! |

| I just called around yesterday for Chloe's first grooming. All three charge $35.00. Glad I read the posts here...never even thought about the tip! |

| Ooh wow...I always thought the grooming centres here in M'sia charge very expensive, I converted it to USD and I pay USD23 for full grooming, and USD12 for basic (mini) grooming. I often visit a grooming centre, they give me special rate...only USD8 for basic grooming ![]() But anyway, there are around 6-7 grooming centres near my office, I'm no surprised if they reduced price to get more customers

| I cost about $42 for Josh to get his bath, haircut, and scissoring. Josh gets the lamb haircut. |

| I pay $35 for my two boys but they go every two weeks. They get a bath, nails, ears, and trim. Also I get a really good deal from my groomer because I've been using her for a long time. The normal charge for two Yorkies would be around $60. Also I've never tipped either but my groomer owns her place so I guess I just always thought it was like not tipping your hairdresser if they were the owner? Any opinions on if I should be tipping? |

| 30 for a full. My groomer is also a doggy daycare and boarding facility. It's near my job. I take Troy once a month usually on a Friday. I drop him off when I get to work and pick him up when I leave. Bc he's small and the groomer wants him he usually stays with him after he's done grooming. |

| $35.00 for a full groom (only because I bring her all 4, otherwise she charges $45.00) - $7.00 for nail clipping (don't know about a mini clip as I've never had it done). My girl has a very cottony matty kind of coat, so I go about every 2 months or so) When I had it done at the vet's the cost was $65.00 for a full groom and $20.00 for nail clipping .
