open the program - at the top you'll see work with ONE file and MULTIPLE FILES - if you only want one pic sized - Click ONE FILE Click LOAD PICTURE and go find the photo you want sized on your computer - just click OPEN and your picture will show in that line Choose a size - I manually type in 600 x 400 where it says CUSTOM SIZE...but you can choose from the sizes posted (25% - 50% etc) just click one - make JPEG is clicked the instructions make it look harder than it is - once you do it - you'll be going DUH ! Then Click SAVE PICTURE | |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ps - if you downloaded it and can't find the program - do a search (on your start bar where it says SEARCH in the menue) then type in PIX and it'll come up in the search - click on the .exe file which will install it on your computer - I save ALL programs to the folder PROGRAM FILES - but if you don't know where it went - you can just search for it - |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Have opened the program yet? After you download a program, you usually have to "install" it, this usually means double clicking what you installed. After that you open the program, and try opening a picture with it. Look at this page: Image resizing, do it with PIXresizer. A picture 800x600 is a good size to upload to threads, not too big, not too small. Save as a Jpeg, if given a choice, most websites and email programs accept jpeg, and it takes up the least space. When you make a picture smaller, it's usually good to save it under a new name, or add the word "edited" to the name, so you won't ruin your original picture. If you can't figure it out, there are many online sites that are easy to use, and will resize the picture for you. Here's one. Resize Images online Oh, I see V beat me to it!
