Potty Issues My Sadie will potty on her potty pad all the time, then all of a sudden for a few days "forgets" where to poop. Not sure what I can do. I praise here when she DOES go on the pad or outside. Getting frustrated. Especially when I KNOW she knows better. Any suggestions? Crystal Sadie

stubborn Yorkies are stubborn when it comes to potty training. Some take longer than others. My Zippy is almost 2 and does not have full run of the house because he "forgets".

| My babies stay inside most of the time. I keep them in a pen in the house with their potty pad.. However, they still make an oops on the occassion and they are a little over 2 years old. Georgia goes into another room sometimes and does her business because her babies and nest are in the pen, and I just chalk it up to the fact that she doesn't want to mark near it. Then sometimes she does use the potty pad in the pen, it is so frustrating I understand!!!! My boy will use the pad and then he sometimes "forgets" in the house on some spots he has marked before. Hang in there. Perhaps the smells where they "forget" is not eliminated enough. Either way, yorkies are difficult to house train sometime. Good Luck!

She will be 1 in two weeks. I've had her since she was 4 months old. She was trained to use a potty pad when I got her from the breeder. She does really well for a while and then for a few days she has accidents everywhere.

potty issue my yorkie is 1yr old and she does good about her potty/poop time. Did you ever have your yorkie on a schedule? I got her when she was 8 wks old and started her on a schedule.I started with the pads and then went to newspaper. Now she lets me know when she has to go. So try taking your yorkie out every 2-3 hrs and maybe he/she will get back on track... Good Luck
