Question Does Anyone Know What A Parti Yorkie Undocked Tail Looks Like?

The day that we had scheduled to take Livi's babies in to get their tails docked was the morning that everything happened and we almost lost her. Soooo, obviously, we didn't add to the stress of everything by taking the puppies to the vet that day. I was wondering if anyone knows if her parti babies will have a tail that looks like the Biewer? I LOVEEEEEEEEE the full fluffy look of the Biewer tail...so pretty!!!! I have noticed that the Yorkie undocked tail does not have the same look. Please, no one get upset with me for writing this...I have just noticed that the hair looks so thick on the Biewer tail. I have never seen a parti Yorkie with an undocked tail so I am just curious what they might look like and if anyone has seen one or possibly have pictures to share.

Thanks!
Tammy

I haven't seen a full tail on a Parti but I can't imagine it would look that much different than a Biewer if the dog is in full coat. Some Biewers have thick coats and some have thinner coats so all of their tails don't look the same either. I love the long tail and, contrary to what some believe, it doesn't get in the way of things...if you know what I mean

HAHAHA!!! I hadn't even thought about it getting in the way. TOO FUNNY! I have seen Yorkie undocked tails that look thin, but the Biewer tail is soooo full and I love the way that it just falls...or is it more accurate to say, it drapes. It's just so cute...so pretty...and I hoping that the undocked parti tail looks the same.

I would assume that it would have the tail of a yorkie as supposedly the Biewer is not a yorkie. But that is just my guess. Isn't a parti a yorkie with white on it and a Biewer is not a yorkie? I just don't know enough about the Biewer to know...but assuming since a parti is suppose to be yorkie I would again guess it would have a yorkie tail. Does that make sense?

Well let me rephrase LOL...I'm going to say a yorkie since I have heard a parti is considered a yorkie and is registered as a yorkie and a biewer is not considered a yorkie from what I hear LOL...UNLESS your parti babies are cotton coated like a yorkie can be then maybe it would have a full tail LOL...

A biewer is a Yorkie (only 1 group says it is not to get into AKC) so I also believe a Parti and a Biewer is the same dog via pedigree's then a Parti with a tail will look like a Biewer.

Tammy...let me put it this way...I have 2 female Biewers who have a ton of hair with a combination cottony/silky coat and their tail hair is thick...I have 2 males with thinner silk coats and their tail hair is thinner. All of them have beautiful plumes for tails that drape over their backs and I would imagine your Yorkie would too. I love the long tails and if it gets too long you can trim it just like the rest of their hair.

Tammy I have a legitimate question regarding the parti....are parti's a silk coated dog or a cotton coated dog? I know with the standard yorkie we can have several types of coat but the silk is preferred so in partis is it just the color or is it a different coat texture or both? I don't know much about the Biewer because I only breed yorkies to the standard and try to achieve what the standard calls for...
I'm glad Livi and the babies are doing good and you have proved to be a very strong person and dedicated to your babies. You know we disagree on the parti vs the standard but I applaud you for your courage, strength and love for you babies!!!
Donna

IDK if they would be offended but my suggestion "a Biewer" may show my ignorance of the differences between the two and I didn't mean to offend.
