| Just so you are fully aware this is the breeder who was trying to sell her dogs as rescue through a Scottie Terrier Rescue group which is wrong: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ia-rescue.html Also this is a Biewer Terrier which is a dog with 3 breeds in it and is not considered a yorkie. I have the documentation from petfinder and this breeders website which has now been removed. I have no problem that the dog needs a wonderful home but I think you should know all the facts. This is infiniti.

I feel bad myself, as I know that rehoming retired breeders is really not rescue, even though they need homes too, and many people don't like older dogs, they want puppies. Also I feel bad that I made a decision and a promise to Peek A Boo (one of my Yorkie Rescues) that any pups I brought into our house would have to come from a healthier, more controlled environment than the Humane Society, because when I adopted Tinkerbell from the Humane Society, she brought with her a deviant corona virus (my guess) which turned into a deadly pneumonia and just about killed Peek A Boo. So, until I can build a quarrantine area, I can only assist in rehoming healthy pups from breeders. Also, Tink was seen by my vet before she set foot in my house, which didn't really help. The only thing I fear is maybe this all sounds too good to be true? But worth investigating IMHO.

Rehoming retired breeders is NOT rescue in any shape or form and when a breeder tries to say dogs they are done with are rescue it is an ethical problem to me. When it comes to breeders it should all be about integrity. If you are comfortable with this then that is your decision. There is enough information on YT to educate yourself to the truth about what is a Biewer Terrier and what is a Biewer Yorkshire Terrier along with how much Mrs. Biewer really had to do with these dogs. And for the record the BTRA is not the only registry to require DNA and when it comes to showing the dogs the other two clubs have been more active in showing their dogs and the top Biewer Yorkies in the US are not from this club. Again, let me state if you want to buy retired breeder dogs (she is selling them at a great price) that is fine but please do not think of them as rescue in any shape or form and do not believe everything written on their website. It is a slap in anyone's face who has been actively invovled in rescue or anyone who is involved in the other two clubs here in the states and on YT.

| Best of luck with your search and do "walk gently into the Biewer night" I agree with Cindy, there is a lot of information, debates and opinions on this site as well as other sites. Know what you are getting.. so there is no disappointment at the end!

| A word of advice: Do not EVER...EVER EVER, under ANY circumstances...make the mistake of saying that to Cindy. She is ruthless. She will wear you down, just like she did me. I kept declaring that I was not getting a 3rd dog. I believed myself and said it with conviction. She did not care. She was relentless. She recruited others against me. She wore me down and I grew weak. And finally, I caved. That being said, I LOVE my little Biewer. She is sneaky and laid back and loving and fits our home perfectly. Great dogs. Do your research, take your time....and above all else, post pictures when you get one. |

| Oh yes- You have got to get a Biewer! I love all my babies, they all have their special personalities, but my life, home, and heart have not been the same since Haley pranced through the door. She is Beautiful, Playful, and Loving. At first sight one would thing a perfect angel, but then there is the "other" side of this little Diva, she is sneaky, demanding, bossy, and a bully to my little boys. When I hear her growling and the boys crying I know she is picking on one of them. There is never a dull min. with Haley around that is for sure, and you cannot forget the tail, I just love her little tail
