Jasmine only does that with Prissy's food. Jasmine eats her food then she goes over to Prissy's crate and steals Prissy's food one piece at a time and takes it into another room to eat it, I guess if we can't see her then it is ok, then she will come back and get another piece. She will also hide Prissy's food, one kibble at a time, for later. It is so funny because Jasmine and Prissy has the same food. I think Jasmine just wants it because it is in Prissy's crate. LOL She is really cute to watch.

Sydney does the same thing. She sometimes will play with a piece of dry food and toss it in the air. It's funny to watch, but it can take her a while to eat. I had to start taking her food away after 15 minutes if she was playing.

Pixie loves to give kisses as she is eating. usually me but lately she jumps up on my husbands recliner and kisses him after she takes a bite. It takes her a while to finish eating and my husband and I get lots of kisses. I should video tape it

I think this is a "little dog thing" because both my dog do the same thing....I have a yorkie ( Izzy) and a Chihuahua (twilight)...I thught it was weird but i guess it pretty common..

That's how my Teddy eats!! If we are in the living room he will take pieces and bring them in there and then go right back to his bowl!! He's so worried about what we are doing haha. But that must be a Yorkie thing because my mom's Boston Terrier doesn't do that haha!!

Both of my girls do this! - I didn't know it was so common!! - They both takes pieces of food from there bowls and bring them on the living room carpet to eat they will not eat on our tile floors, sometimes Lily grabs a few pieces for her and Mia -- she's such a good big sister!

Billie goes between her bowl & her bed, one piece at a time. And up until this post, I thought it was unique to her!!!! how funny to read all the posts, great thread topic, i had no idea that this wasn't soley a Billie thing!

haha, my boys do that too! Joey will grab a few kibbles, drop them on the carpet, and eat them in the hallway by the bathroom that their food is kept in. Tank will take just one or two at a time, but also take them to the hallway, haha. The little quirks our Yorkies have...but you gotta love them!!!
