| When we got Chip we went through a whole list of names. My mom was on the computer searching for names and she'd suggest a bunch at a time. Chip came up somewhere on there and we'd write down the ones we liked. At first I wasn't too keen on it, but after watching him for a day or so, he was definitely a Chip. Smokey came to us already named. Smokey wouldn't have been my first choice for a name, but when I brought him home he was already 6 months old and we were his 5th home and his name had already been changed once. I just felt he had been through so much already and he was very, very sick with anxiety that I didn't want to throw a new name on top of it.

| Max is short for Maximilian. I wanted a big strong name for a small dog. It was a toss up between Rocco or Max. I let my daughter choose...she felt he looked like Max from "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" with Jim Carrey and its one of her favorite movies.

| We named our dog Chewie, a shorter version of Chewbacca because he looked like Chewbacca when he was a puppy. He even sounds like him. hihihihi |

| My mom bred her two yorkies and they had a litter of 6. She had promised me that i'd get to keep one and I kept changing my mind between two different girls, then one day a third girl (the puppies were color coated and she was yellow) popped her little head out of her cage and stared me down. I was instantly hooked and wanted to name her Lola. A few weeks later when her ears started growing more i noticed how very large my little munchkin's ears were and how she had such a tiny little body, so she had to have a special name that encompassed all of her adorable physical traits, and so she was dubbed "Little Lola Gizmo". We usually call her Lola bean, Lola bug, little bit, or baby girl though. |

| Our little girl is named Chloe. I don't know why I decided to name her Chloe but it just stuck!! And she is SOOOO a Chloe! ![]() Andy on the other hand....he is our little boy. I couldn't figure out a good name for him and had tons to choose from. So I came on YT and did a pole with a ton of names lol. The one I liked the best was either Carson or Harrison. A person replied and said they liked Harrison and that he really would be our "Harry son". Well we got him a few days later and decided Harrison just didn't fit his personality and looks. So I was talking with my DH and he said we should name him Andrew. I said it was cute and we started calling him Andrew and his middle name is Harrison. A few days later we just kept calling him Andy so I guess you would say that Andy stuck! Our little Andrew Harrison aka Andy! Sooo adorable!

That's how I came to name my boy Chewy! hehe What a loveable furball. My husband helped name Georgia. Initially, he wanted to call her George because she was ALWAYS getting into stuff, always investigating. So he wanted to call her George because of "Curious George". I told him he couldn't call her a boy's name so I suggested Georgia instead and it stuck! | |
