| Bandit was named by my teacher aide. We couldn't think of any name and when I showed her the picture the breeder sent us he had a bandana on, and she said he looks like a Bandit (and boy did he live up to his name!!! He steals tp, socks, paper, especially socks, anything that's left on the floor!) Nala was named from the lion king....we wanted to call her crackhead (still do) but didn't think that was an "appropriate" name...but she sure lives up to her nickname |

| I named Maddie before I ever saw her. I just wanted a Maddie. Her daddy nicknamed her Maddie-Cakes. I call her this or 'tinky baby'. ![]() I didn't get to pick out Cooper's name, but here is her story. Her previous owners bought her as a boy. The "breeder" gave them her as a boy. I rescued/rehomed her at about 13-14 weeks old. It was while I was shaving the matted hair that I realized 'he' didn't have a pee pee.![]() I just kept her name as Cooper. Her nickname is 'hungry' b/c she eats as if she hasn't eaten in days everytime she eats and hubby thinks she looks like 'hungry' on the WeightWatcher commercials. |

| Senior Yorkie Talker | Oh my gosh at the stories. So entertaining. Especially the Great Gatspy. My mom would love that, that was her favorite book!

| Such great stories! I named mine "Pixel" because I've always had big dogs and he was so little and I'm a bit of a computer geek You know a pixel is the smallest addressable screen element, so I felt it fit. The only problem with it is often people think I said Pixie and call HIM Pixie LOL |

| Very cute stories... My husband actually named Harley because he wanted a motorcycle and I wanted a yorkie...long story short, after finally convincing him to let me have her, he said "well if you get a yorkie, than I get to name her!" and we just happened to go pick her up during bike week so of course he would pick Harley...On the way home he said, "man look at all these Harley's on the road and here I am with a yorkie NAMED Harley.. when I say her name everyone assumes she's a little boy but nope just my sweet little girl. And of course he now says that she's HIS dog...but I know different Her nicknames are doodies, sweet sweet and tons of others. LOL. Sometimes I'll say "where's mama's baby?" and she'll come flying down the hallway. I just love it

| My oldest is named Sasha. We named him that because we just really liked the name. Although most people assume he's a girl because of the name but they don't realize that in Europe Sasha is often a boy's name. Then when we got his little brother we decided to name him Simba. I always liked that name from The Lion King and it went well with Sasha. I also call them Thing 1 and Thing 2 (from Dr. Suess) when they start tearing the house apart, LOL! |

| I love the Disney princess movies, so Ariel was named after The Little Mermaid. Though, I do have family members who call her Oreo because they can't pronounce her name (English isn't their first language ) |

| With Gypsy, I wanted a flirtatious name and I thought of a gypsy. With our chi, she is hubby's and he named her cocoa puff couse she is all brown. And Sophie cause I think Boston terriers look rugged, I wanted a girlie name. If I get a girl Pom, it will be sassafras, with Sassy for short.

| Well we went to the pet store (before I knew about them) to get a miniature dachshund but when I saw my baby girl I fell in love with her little face...it took me a while to convince my hubby because of the price but he finally agreed as long as I promised to have her fixed as soon as she was old enough because he said I would never give up her babies then we'd have a house full of yorkies lol...anyway we had to wait to bring her home till she was old enough about 3 weeks..so we visited her every day and at dinner one night all four of us decided to give her a name My oldest son chose Shelby after the car..( he loves cars) I chose Rae because I wanted to name her Molly Rae after a puppy we had found and returned to her family but couldn't...my youngest son chose Penelope and my hubby went with Montgomery our last name so her name is Shelby Rae Penelope Montgomery....the little bitty girl with a very BIG name! thats what I tell her all the time...that was 9 years ago..and it suits her to a T.. ![]()
