YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() Roxie went thru a phase of this. I bought a king sized quilt as a slip cover (matelase style)put piddle pads underneath it on the cushions so she didn't know they were there but would keep the urine from soaking in. Then I just watched her and made a loud noise at her if she would even attempt it. She quit and no problems since. Safer to protect it for awhile if you can.

| ![]() Good idea. I put an old comforter on it for now...and she isn't allowed to be on the sofa if we are not with her , which is easy to accomplish , we just move the steps and she can't get up there ![]()

I also had a leather sofa that was peed on by our other dog Sydney when she was a pup. It cleaned up fine with my leather cleaner and conditioner , but I still called in the sofa guy on that one too ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Don't use the Natures Mircle on it unless you test an area in the back or under the sofa. I used it on a burgendy leather chair and it took out some of the color. I didn't think to test first so its discolored in the middle of the seat. Having it touched up by a professional and cost will be 180.00 so becarefull. Also for the happy pee's have you considered the britches or panties for the female dog. I have to put bellie bands on my male due to his addiction to hiking. Little stinkers!!! |

| ![]() I have a Bissell ProHeat 2X Turbo that I got at Costco that has attachments that work great on furniture. The best part is that their detergents have scotchguard in them so once they're treated once, liquid won't absorb again. I would definitely recommend it, the attachments are great for spot cleaning or cleaning furniture, rugs, etc. Also, if the manufacturer of your couch says its ok, I would recommend Scotch Guarding your couch to protect against future incidents. It comes in a spray can, you can get it at Lowe's or Home Depot in the cleaning section....it's a miracle worker, I use it on all my fabric furniture and rugs. |
