Good idea. I put an old comforter on it for now...and she isn't allowed to be on the sofa if we are not with her , which is easy to accomplish , we just move the steps and she can't get up there
Hopefully when she starts using the steps better ( she is such a princess she hates to use them) she will have no problem with comming down to use her pad and she can have free(er) reign of the sofa again.
